Our Promise

The principles Hāvin uses to decide what belongs in the product, how access should work, and what users should reasonably expect from us.

Simplify ownership

Hāvin exists to reduce the time, effort, and uncertainty involved in managing physical assets. Complexity has to earn its place. If a feature makes ownership harder to understand, it is moving in the wrong direction.

Your records are not our advertising product

Hāvin does not sell personal information or asset information and does not use customer content to create third-party advertising profiles. We intend to earn revenue by providing useful ownership services, not by turning private ownership records into an ad-targeting business.

Free should remain useful

Core ownership records should stay useful without a subscription. Paid features should perform meaningful work — comprehension, guidance, automation, and saved effort — rather than artificially restricting the basic record you created.

Access should be specific

Hāvin Access is designed around the principle that another person should receive only the scope, authority, information, and capabilities needed for the role they are performing. Temporary access should actually expire. Revocation should actually revoke. AI should not create a shortcut around those boundaries.

AI should help without taking over

Ask Hāvin should appear where it is useful and stay out of the way where it is not. AI can make mistakes, so Hāvin distinguishes stored records from external information where possible and expects safety-critical guidance to be verified against authoritative sources.

Security claims should be provable

Privacy and authorization are architectural requirements, not marketing adjectives. We prefer accurate descriptions of real controls over absolute promises no online system can honestly make.

No surprises

We aim to use clear language, explain why information or access is needed when it is requested, and disclose material changes before a reasonable user would be surprised by them.

Hāvin

Everything you own. One place.
