The service
Hāvin provides software for organizing, documenting, maintaining, collaborating around, and learning about physical assets. Hāvin is not a legal title registry, insurer, emergency service, professional inspection service, repair provider, tax adviser, or substitute for manufacturer instructions and qualified professional judgment.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter, maintaining appropriate independent records, and confirming safety-critical specifications or procedures before acting.
Accounts and acceptable use
Account holders must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, protect authentication credentials, and use Hāvin only for lawful purposes. Users may not upload malware, executable code, stolen material, unlawful content, content they lack the right to use, or files intended to abuse storage or processing resources.
Hāvin may apply reasonable technical, file-size, file-type, storage, AI-usage, security, and fair-use controls. Hāvin does not ordinarily impose a numerical limit on asset records created for legitimate personal ownership-management use, but may restrict unusually high, abusive, automated, or unrelated activity.
Subscriptions and trials
Plus may be offered monthly or annually with a seven-day trial requiring a payment method. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription renews automatically at the disclosed price and interval. A reminder is intended approximately one day before the first charge, but users remain responsible for managing the subscription.
A failed renewal may receive a three-day grace period. If payment remains unsuccessful, Plus access may be suspended or the account may return to Free without deleting the user’s assets or records. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally preserves paid access through the end of the current billing period. Platform-store rules may control billing, cancellation, and refunds for purchases made through that platform.
User content and permissions
Users retain their rights in content they submit. Users grant Hāvin a limited license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, comply with law, and fulfill actions the user requests or authorizes.
Users are responsible for having sufficient rights to upload documents and for choosing appropriate collaboration permissions. A user who grants access to another person authorizes Hāvin to make the selected information available within that permission scope.
Digital records, buyer previews, and transfers
A Hāvin asset record is an organizational record inside the platform. Its presence, assigned owner, collaboration settings, buyer preview, or record transfer does not by itself establish, prove, warrant, or transfer legal or beneficial ownership of any physical asset.
Users remain responsible for completing any bill of sale, title, registration, deed, payment, delivery, inspection, lien release, tax filing, regulatory submission, or other real-world requirement. Buyer previews are temporary informational access and are not inspections, warranties, appraisals, condition certifications, or guarantees that a seller owns or may sell an asset.
AI and external information
Ask Hāvin may summarize or analyze authorized records and current external information. AI-generated material can be incomplete or incorrect. Users should verify safety-critical instructions, specifications, legal requirements, warranty conditions, and repair procedures against authoritative sources or qualified professionals.
Availability and limitation
Hāvin may change, suspend, or discontinue features, apply security restrictions, or remove content when reasonably necessary. The service is provided subject to applicable consumer-protection law and without a guarantee that every record, reminder, external source, AI response, or integration will be complete, accurate, available, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Havin LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
