Hāvin by Text · Phone verification
Verify your mobile number
Example only — this public page does not send a code.
This public page documents the Hāvin consent workflow shown to eligible users before recurring Hālo and Hāvin by Text messages are enabled. The Hāvin messaging number is provided only to enrolled users through the product and messages they receive. This page is documentation only; viewing it does not enroll anyone in text messaging.

A user must first verify control of the mobile number and then separately take an intentional, default-off action to enable Hāvin by Text. Users can later disable the master text setting or individual message categories.
An eligible signed-in user opens Settings → Hāvin by Text. Hāvin by Text is optional and is not required to keep or use a Hāvin account.
Before requesting a verification code, the user sees the one-time SMS disclosure shown below. The user must intentionally select Send verification code.
Hāvin uses Twilio Verify to confirm that the user controls the mobile number. Successful verification alone does not enable recurring Hāvin messages.
After verification, the recurring-message consent control is displayed off by default. The user must intentionally turn it on after seeing the full consent language.
The user can control service & maintenance messages, Watch alerts, usage check-ins, and—when available on the user’s plan—shared-access activity. The master switch can disable the entire channel.
The two cards below document the messaging disclosures shown at the exact consent points in the Hāvin application.

Hāvin by Text · Messaging consent
The user must intentionally change this control from OFF to ON.
Maintenance due reminders, service-related notices, and ownership care information tied to assets in the user’s Hāvin account.
Notifications generated by defined Hāvin Watch conditions or other explicit product events related to tracked assets.
Occasional requests for mileage, hours, or similar usage information when a defined maintenance workflow needs an updated baseline.
When available on the user’s plan, permitted notices about activity involving assets or portfolios the user is authorized to access.
An enabled user may send questions from the verified number and receive replies from Hālo about assets and information the user is authorized to access. Hāvin may ask a short clarification question when a message could refer to more than one asset.
Hāvin by Text is currently for transactional, informational, account-related, asset-care, and user-initiated support/conversation messages. It is not used for unsolicited marketing, lead generation, or third-party promotional messages.
STOPStops Hāvin text messaging and records the opt-out. Standard STOP-family carrier keywords are honored.
HELPRequests help information. Users can also visit the Hāvin Contact page.
END HĀVIN TEXTINGAn additional Hāvin-specific command that disables Hāvin texting.
START / UNSTOPClears a carrier/app opt-out when supported, but does not silently turn the Hāvin master preference back on. The user must re-enable Hāvin by Text in Settings.
Users may also turn off the Hāvin by Text master switch or individual message categories from Hāvin Settings. Opting out of texts does not cancel the user’s Hāvin account or subscription.
Outbound Hāvin messages originate from defined product logic, such as a service or Watch event, a defined usage-check interval, a permitted shared-access event, or another explicitly designed system rule. Hālo may help compose or answer content after Hāvin determines that communication is allowed, but the AI does not independently select recipients or initiate contact on its own.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any broader information-sharing permissions in Hāvin’s policies. Operational SMS delivery records are designed to store delivery and idempotency metadata rather than SMS message-body content.
For broader data practices, see the Privacy Policy. For messaging program terms, see the Hāvin SMS Terms.
Do not rely on Hāvin SMS for emergencies, urgent life-safety communication, or time-critical instructions. Wireless carriers and messaging providers can delay or fail to deliver messages. For account or program questions, use the Hāvin Contact page.
